A Symphony of Movement
Opening up a long flat box yesterday was a real pleasure, as beneath the delicate tissue paper wrapping was a beautiful object.
Designed in the 1970s by Danish designer Ole Flensted, this mobile 'Futura - Nature' is now installed in the treatment room at Sandy Point Community Centre. He designed it whilst listening to Mozart, as we often do during massages.
It's a perfectly balanced, silently moving set of elements that sets it's own random path - nothing about it repeats. Clients watching during their treatments can now be inspired to think about moving towards their own physical freedom, their own symphony of moving parts. Or simply be mesmerized.
